    Been a while since this topic has been posted in but I would love to see some summoning animations which you can use to create a pet/companion/monster if possible. Would need to cover a range of elements like fire, ice, water, earth, lightning, grass, holy, unholy/darkness and themes like robotic, Egyptian and Greek.

     

    These would be nice for "summoner" type characters like Warlocks or summoners from Final Fantasy.

    The damage of abilities are balanced by XP cost and activation points, you can't have a 1 activation point (or mana) fireball that does 20 damage unless there is a large XP cost for example.

    I would love themes of any sort even if it was for a predefined list, also I think it would be neat if the music played while hovering over the characters in the selection box :)

    Hey guys and girls just stumbled upon this little sentence on the kickstarter page:

    "Users can create and customize every aspect of their heroes from their look and theme music".

    Is this actually a feature and can we add our own themes? When do the themes play? I would love to know more!

    I support the idea of having exterior dungeons or having some dungeons with both interior and exterior, more enemies will be suited to the outdoors like beasts, sea creatures, giants and dragons.

    posted a message on Crowdsource features?

    Hey devs, I was watching another kickstarted game recently which is a highly interactive "crowdsource" game where the viewers of the players channel on Twitch get to select all sorts of things via polls to change how the person plays the game from weapons and weapon magic to different forms of jumps. I was thinking a Crowdsource dungeon master mode would be incredible for Popup Dungeon, I'm no programmer and I'm sure that something like that would require a lot of work but perhaps it could be something to consider for the future.

    This type of interactivity could also be added to spell creation too.

    1. Will we be able to set up an arcane missile spell that deals X amount of damage split randomly between all or X amount of enemies?

    2. Will we be able to set up an explosion AoE spell that splits damage randomly among the enemies caught in the AoE?

    3. Can a skill/spell add a random debuff to enemies (thinking something like foul breath from Final Fantasy games)? Can we apply random buffs to allies? and can we set up a pool of possible effects for these random skills/spells to pick from and give some a greater % chance to be applied?

    Here are some more:

    Capoeira combat dance moves - Think Eddy Gordo from Tekken.

    Flirt - A STUNing debuff or buff :P

    Kick up earth - Character turns around and with back to enemy furiously kicks up sand/dust/dirt into the face of enemies. This would be great for beast type characters.

    Pick up and throw earth - Character grabs earth/boulder/rock/dirt/dust from the ground and throws it at the enemy. This is more aimed at brute type characters.

    Pull (lever) - IMO it's a bit different to the rope pull already on the list and this would be better for trap doors and such.

    Bulldoze/Stampede - Charge at the enemy and run over them, good for brutes and large beasts.

    Wave banner/flag- Great for commanders/leaders to buff the party.

    Rage - Flip table/break things, good for damage boost buffs.

    Chemical mixing/drinking/throwing- Alchemist type animation where the character can mix ingredients in flasks together and drink or throw the chemical mix. I can see multiple uses for this animation as it can apply to damage and buff/healing spells/skills.

    Build - A build animation for characters to build turrets and other structures.

    Slow motion dive to side - The Bodyguard movie style sacrifice/intercept.

    Swoop - Take off and swoop down on an enemy, good for any flying creature from fly to dragon.

    How about some dirty fighting tactics like a low blow or eye gouge, not all characters fight clean :P

    Sports related animations - Soccer/Football penalty kick, Tennis backhand/forehand, Cricket/Baseball bat swings.

    - Sleep/rest: would be a nice recover animation for some characters.

    - Breath: flame, frost, foul etc.

    - As a wrestling fan I would love to see a some basic wrestling moves like a powerbomb, dropkick and clothesline and perhaps even something for the luchadores like a moonsault.

    -Use gadget (iPhone/tablet): would be awesome to summon friends/mum/dad/army backup or hack something.

    -Voodoo: Voodoo charms/dolls/totems: neat for witch doctors and such.
