I don't know what's more surprising: that I've actually played four of these five games, or that I totally agree with this list. To go ancient, I'd add Starflight, from 1986. It has an excellent story that loses its impact after the first playthrough. And now that I think of it, really most point-and-click, story-heavy adventure games can never be the same after the first run, although there are a few I've played over and over again anyway, just because their stories are so great. But if you want to keep it modern, you could include Life is Strange, which has a few crazy twists and turns that definitely wouldn't work after the first time.
