Ultron is pretty nasty, right? He is very much omnipresent, lethal, and incredibly determined and inspired. But as I let Avengers: Age of Ultron wash over me last week, I couldn’t help but think that I have killed far more dangerous rogue A.I. in some of my favorite video games. Sure, Ultron is in many bodies at once, learns incredibly quickly, and can fire lasers from his fingers, but it doesn't hold a warm glowing screen to some of the deadliest computers in games. And before you ask - Yes, I absolutely can list and rank them for you.
Single player games are pretty good at giving us exactly what we expect. Multiplayer can be another thing entirely. Small things that single player modes get away with can be frustrating exploits when put in the hands of other players and given a competitive slant. Many multiplayer sections are rushed and uninspired attempts at keeping the game from being traded in just a little bit longer. On occasion, though, these game types can be quite good, surprisingly so.
