Do you love Minecraft, and its knack for unlocking the most industrious instincts inside you, as you turn blocks of soil into great masterpieces? How about Ark, with its savage environment and even more cutthroat gameplay? If you answered yes to both, then might I interest you in PixARK, a survival game that looks to blend the best of both worlds, taking two great tastes and seeing if they taste great together.
After running a successful Kickstarter campaign, Planet Explorers is available through Steam in its alpha build. Community voted to be Greenlit, Planet Explorers has moved its official wiki to Gamepedia! We're very happy to be teaming up with Pathea to bring the community the most comprehensive, community-driven resource for Planet Explorers!
Featuring both single and multi-player options, this adventure RPG building game features three distinct modes for players: story, adventure and build. The build mode is an enemy-free testing ground where you test your skills with the tools this voxel-based sandbox gives you! Adventure mode is for running missions and setting up custom scenarios. Story mode is the main part of Planet Explorers; the true meat of this game. Players build, farm, collaborate, explore, adventure, fight, and get immersed in the Planet Explorers storyline!
When you need a break from exploring and creating, have a look at the official wiki and contribute! Just like Planet Explorers gives you the tools you need to build what you want in game, Gamepedia gives you the tools to be a successful contributor. Both the Help Page and Community Discussion Page are tools available on the Planet Explorers wiki. There is also the Help Wiki and #Gamepedia IRC channels for information and discussion!
StarForge, currently in its alpha build, has recently switched to Gamepedia for their official wiki! The game is available for purchase through Steam in alpha. The StarForge developers at CodeHatch are interested in creating a collaboration between fan and developer, allowing players to have direct input in shaping the game as it moves through development stages.
A mix of the RTS, FPS, tower defense, voxel builder, physics sandbox and RPG genres, StarForge is the game where players do what they want. Set on a planet where humanity has relocated and is struggling to survive, you gather resources, build and do what you can to help in the relocation efforts. StarForge is available for Mac and Windows, and they are looking into a Linux port.
After your day exploring and building is over and you've returned to earth, why not check out The Official StarForge Wiki? All wikis at Gamepedia are build for and by the community – if you find an error or incomplete information, feel free to lend a hand! For information on getting started, please see the help page for tips on editing and contributing content.
